I always hesitate to do tutorials because it's sort of like saying 'Yeah, I know what I'm doing! XD' when, mostly, I really don't. I always get the feeling someone with better skills will come along and make some kind of Pffffft noise. :3 But I understand that some people (like, two people maybe) are interested to know how I do certain things.
So in this tutorial I've included a guideline of how exactly I produce 'lineless' work, which includes descriptions on how to make your own custom brush and use layer masks for highlighting.
I'm sure this isn't the only way to go about things, this is simply the way I work. I'm incredibly messy. I mean... SERIOUSLY, messy. I never finish anything before I move on to the next stage, so I'm constantly going back and correcting things which I'm sure doesn't make for an easily understood tutorial.
But nevertheless, I've described it to the best of my ability, and if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
Great tutorial, it's really helpful! You really explain what you do with some great step-by-step pics from the process. Gonna try and use this for one of my next drawings for sure, thanks a lot!
