This should have been a quickie, but I procrastinated terribly! :dance:



Lineart: Mechanical pencil only.

Computer stuff: Painter 8 for colouring, Photoshop for final editing.




Not entirely happy with it... but meh. Still trying to get the hand of Painter.

I really love the composition of this piece. The mood expressed in "Down by the Canal" suggests a quiet atmosphere of serious discussion and by the familairity of her body language and his resigned posture and expression, I'm guessing they're working out some heavy stuff between them. Also I love the muted colors.

Wow, I love their clothes :D Seriously. I would so wear that stuff (even if people would point at me and laugh...). Can't wait to see that story!! Now that you're going to stop writing IY fanfic...work on this? Heh.

Oooo, it's very bright and sunny, something I'd expect to find in one of those old timey books, based on times like Tom and Huck or something. Great work! :D
