Okay, I'm just going to lay it all out- I seriously LOVE the fact that she doesn't have a child or doll like face! I like how she actually has a face fit for an adult. It's a nice change when most pictures featuring a single figure wearing a kimono have a child like beauty to them. I think the whole innocence theme is thoroughly over done.
Love the shadow effect in this one, the character with the parasol feels almost close enough to give the observer shade as well. Behind them a landscape of heat represented with a Chinese-red color. They seem to have a mutual understanding of peaceful times. *wants to pet anteater*
The style is beautiful and elegant, as is the woman in a kimono. Without the anteater, though, this would definitely lack that certain quirkiness that makes your art great. ;] By the way, anteaters are unreasonably high on my list of favorite animals.
Right, sadgjhaksg-nonsense aside, your art is lovely. You use colors brilliantly. I've always really admired your creativity, but all of your skills have clearly leveled up! So anyway uh thank you for posting. <3
