Been a while, so I though I'd polish up some oldies that have been sitting around unfinished.
The Suggester said: "The Sacrifice by ~Rozefire looks simple but strong. The crashing waves are styled nicely and I think it's neat how the skulls show as the water draws back." Beautiful style and impressive composition. (

Gorgeous work on this! --- "Quick, press down on the medulla oblongata! Five bucks says he smells burnt toast!"- Sam ("The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police", Ep.5- "They Came From Down There")
A wonderful piece! The thick lines used to draw the waves give them a sense of strength, and the detailing of the woman's robes is beautiful. The flowing garments give a sense of frailty and fluidity, in contrast to the pounding waves. This is a very well-done piece, very deserving of DD Faved!
Beautifully done. The skulls at the bottom, the white outline of the waves to represent the foam, the solemn expression on her face (so much mood with so few lines!), the paint style - its really stunning.
